Fajita Has Some Questions... Again
Hi, Friends! Hi!!!! It’s me, Fajita! I’ve been very busy, can’t you see? Have you ever played the piano? Did you know it’s so, so, so fun? Can you tell me why we start with “Middle Sea”? Why are pianos in the middle of the sea? Oh, is this a pirate thing? Can we find some treasure? Is it hidden in a pocket like this one?
But, wait a minute. These are cords. But these are also cords? How can clothing also be music?
And what is going on with these keys?
I thought these were keys…?
My teacher explained there are conductors to help you in music- like this one.
But I thought I was a conductor.
I’m also very confused about this worksheet my piano teacher gave me. Do you see any D’s here? Or F’s? What does the alphabet have to do with any of this?
And is this why it’s called a “baby grand”?
Why are these called strings when they’re made of metal? And what’s a metal band? Is that like a rubber band but pinchy instead of stretchy?
Speaking of bands, have you heard of a band called the Cars? How do cars hold those instruments and make music? Maybe it’s just my car, but it seems impossible.
Do you have any answers for me? Thanks!
