Froggy in a Snowstorm

Hey, everyone out there! I’m not actually in a snowstorm. Just thought I’d get your attention! I am happy to say that the St. Paul Winter Carnival had a lot of amazing snow sculptures to check out. I had a great time investigating the area and got some things done while I was there. First stop: time to wash my shirt. It’s been a while. Good thing they had a laundromat set up for us!

All that water made me want to go for a swim. No pools in sight, but there was this amazing rocket ship for a quick trip to outer space!

It was such a beautiful view from high above Earth. Can’t say enough good things about the trip… if you can find a rocket ship near you. Just a warning- It made me pretty hungry. Luckily there was some ice cream waiting for me to devour it.

Yum! Unfortunately, it could not have been worse timing. There I was, full and lethargic from eating all that ice cream. I could barely move. Which would normally be no problem whatsoever. You just wait till it gets digested or you go for a walk or take a nap or whatnot.

Yikes! When I woke up, this guy was looming right over me! What’s a frog in a snowy landscape to do? There was nowhere to hide. Except my shirt. And also, my shirt smelled like detergent and not frog. Every little bit helps.

You’ll be happy (and relieved) to hear that I did not get eaten by the giant snow snake. Nor did the little swan babies. It would have been helpful to have seen this mushroom cage a little earlier. That would have been a perfect hiding spot.

And I saved my best discovery for last. Check out this squirrel! I hope Scotty has a chance to see this before it melts.

And I stashed a whole bunch of surprises for my friends in this hollow tree. Yeti will probably want to sell some things. I don’t think they’re worth much money.
