While They're Busy Working

Hey, Friends!

It’s Yeti here, with two new friends. Nick is a dachshund who’s been around for a long time. And Belle is almost as old. We won’t reveal their ages, but Sarah did say to be very careful with her friends. They were found in a pretty cozy window seat. They do get visitors from time to time who like to cuddle but they don’t get out much.

They were happy to go on an adventure with me… as long as they could have lots of breaks to relax. So we climbed a tree and then took a restful nap.

And then we walked to the Lakes Miesle and enjoyed the view.

I asked if they wanted to go for a paddle, but they said it sounded like too much work. So we thought about paddling while watching some other friends (okay, it was Scottie) feed the fish. Loving the view, everyone!

Next stop was some Pickleball. Some would say that’s not exactly relaxing. But, in my defense, it’s a game for older people and young kids. It can’t be that intense!

We had such a great time that we switched to basketball. It’s a major sport here in Indiana. And, okay, I admit the next event was a bit of a misstep. So we practiced some shooting….

They did not appreciate it. So, maybe not my finest hour? (I will admit, it was super fun for me. I love getting tossed into the air almost as much as those stunt doubles, Snitch & Twitch!)

Nick & Belle deserved a rest after that. We headed to the front porch to watch the cars go by. (For those in the know, this is classic Indiana entertainment. Have a driveway or a front stoop or an actual porch? It’s waiting for you to pull up a seat and enjoy the view.

Yep. Lots of cars. Just what we expected. It was hungry work, so we headed inside.

What wouldn’t we do for a Klondike bar? In this case, we’d done plenty to earn our frozen treat. MMMmmm! Time for more “work”.

It was while kicking back in the recliner that we heard “Antiques Roadshow” coming on the tv. It was the perfect way to end our exciting day!

Coming soon to rescue bored Stuffies near you!
