Playgrounds Are Everywhere!

Greetings everyone! Yeti here with all my friends reporting on one of the most exciting days we’ve had in months. Literally months. For some reason, our friend Katie has been “too busy” to take us out on expeditions. What is she doing, anyway? Nothing for our fame, glory, or fortune- that’s for sure! But, anyway…. She sure found some awesome places for us to hang out. Check out how good Snitch & Twitch are at acrobatics! There aren’t enough yoga classes in the world for me to do that.

Our friends Snitch & Twitch are SO nice. (We’ve made up, by the way. I forgave them for the whole helping-me-eat-the-nothing-good-in-the-fridge thing and then the beating-me-at-the-acrobatics-competition thing.) Zeborah, Taco, and Fajita sure are having with them on this cool metal-bar thing! Too be clear, Fajita jumped up on them at the last minute, whereas Zeborah and Taco were invited.

I’m doing my own thing (of course) and having a blast. Not everyone could climb up a slippery upside-down U-shaped pole, but I think I make it look easy!

It turns out sometimes you can have an idea that… Well, I’m never going to say any of my ideas are bad ideas. Just that an idea can occasionally have… unexpected results. For example, everyone’s having fun jumping off a fence into the shrubbery. One friend jumps- hoorah! Another friend jumps- woohoo! (See? Great idea!)

A third friend jumps….

That is NOT my fault. It totally looked like Fajita was going to make it.

Jicama decided that we’d had enough excitement. Think she didn’t like seeing her own Fajita hanging upside down in the vegetation. They were having a blast, but you know moms, what can we say? So we had to take a relaxing nature break. One of us had a wonderful, peaceful time. Guess who?

We did find this cool cart nearby. Snitch and Twitch figured out how to operate the handle like a see-saw, so they got an up close (and then far away and then up close) view of the area. Zeborah was trying to climb up on the handle while it was flying- she finally made it! And Taco was timing them.

Jicama found these branches and cones pretty interesting and was teaching Fajita all about it. They seemed mostly interested. In the meantime, I thought I spied some cold, hard cash on the ground! There was something shiny there & I was sure it was a pile of coins. Turns out it was some water reflecting the sun. BOO!

Our next idea was to take a ride around the neighborhood on the cart. SOME friends wouldn’t let me drive it. Said I couldn’t be trusted and would probably try to drive us to Las Vegas. Can I help it if seeing coins that turned out to not exist made me want to get rich? I cannot.

Speaking of shiny things, can you believe how terrific we all look? And if you stood in just the right place, you appeared to go on forever and ever. Forever and ever Yeti. What a fantabulous idea!!!!!

Hmmm. This is fascinating, for certain. This appears to be a machine that doesn’t accept cash. Which must mean there are places like this one that DO accept cash. Wonder where we can find those? And what it takes to acquire said cash? And how much cash are we talking about inside one of these, exactly?

I’m going to keep my eyes peeled for these money boxes. They’re out there somewhere.

Like my friend Ernie said to the fishes: “Here, money, money, money, money!”
