Stuffies Prepare for Christmas

SO many things to do before we can relax and enjoy our first Christmas together! FIrst order of business- send Santa a letter requesting snow. I mean, this is Minnesota after all! Down here in the Cities they just have this frozen lake and brown, frozen ground. Don’t worry, friends, we’ve got you covered! (Or, we should say, Santa does.). We heard a big storm is coming your way on the 23rd. Happy Christmas to you!

We know this holiday is all about family and friends. We found some new friends here in the Ciites. AND one of Amelia’s grandmas just happened by. She had a great chat and they caught up on lots of weather and flight-related news. Looks like we’re all clear to be home in time to celebrate.

Look at what a great job we did decorating this tree! People say it’s really hard, but we did'n’t think so at all. Of course, maybe it helps to be really good at climbing branches and flying to high spots.

Bit of a problem. We forgot to buy presents for a whole group of friends in Twig. Those squirrels and puppies deserve Christmas, too! Luckily, we found one of these really cool boxes in front of a house nearby. Perfect place to go shopping! We started looking in the window and then Scottie figured out how to unhook the latch! We discovered a bunch of books, a puzzles and some food! There was a sign on the side saying something about a library, but desperate times and all…. We’ll be back later to drop some new books in the box.

Rushed those last minute presents to the Post Office. They said there was no way they’d get there in time for the 25th. We said “No problem. Just pick one of the other 12 days of Christmas, and we’re all set! Also, we found an unexpected friend at the post office. He was super sweet and helpful to us, so we gave him a kiss on the cheek to say “thanks”.

Look at this cool fire! We could get close enough to touch it and not get burnt. We’re a little more confused about why the logs never burn through, but people own the weirdest things. Sometimes it’s best not to ask. Think we’ve earned a break by the fire. If we stay here long enough, maybe we’ll catch Santa in the act!
