Danger Zone Isn't for Everyone

Hey, Stuffie Fans!

It’s me, Froggy! So happy to have been given the space, especially after all those food and travel updates. Not to mention the highly ambitious campaigning done by my friend Yeti. (She’s been suspiciously quiet, lately. I’m getting concerned. She’s either in hibernation still or working on a VERY big scheme. Watch out!)

Speaking of danger, I’ve been working with my young friend Fajita, who often gets nervous about things. I know they’re young and have a million questions. Maybe answering all of them would be reassuring, but I don’t know if there’s enough time in the universe. (Hey, maybe that’s a campaign issue I could bring to Yeti.) Anyway, we were talking and decided maybe it was time to step out of the old comfort zone and do something challenging…

Okay, maybe volcanic eruption is taking it a little too far. Don’t think any of us feel comfortable with that. I was thinking more like…

Yeah, like dangling from a fantastically high place with the potential to fall and crash on your head at any given moment! As a non-flyer, this really gets my little Froggy heart going.

Hmm. Fajita seems incredibly concerned. This might not be for them. It looks like I could get Tiny Yeti on board, though!

Wait, a minute. Why is Yeti looking wistfully off into the distance? I know that look! She’s not paying any attention to my antics. She’s got something up her sleeve, for sure.

Sorry. Back to my “new worlds” challenge with Fajita. They said they’d like to try something a little more down-to-earth. Okay, we can do that…

Great idea, and all, but then Fajita read the sign and got concerned about the “b” word. We didn’t want to talk explosives in front of Yeti after that whole “bank heist” situation. It was time to try a different kind of risky…

Now, I don’t want to say anything bad about a new friend. Sometimes a person or Stuffie just has a certain smell about them. Or they have something they can’t help or change. And I want everyone to feel comfortable being themselves. But, pew. That idea went sideways. We needed to freshen up really quickly.

That smelled gorgeous. Like springtime and cotton candy and birthdays, all in one. The breath-taking scent and vivid blossoms weren’t enough to take Fajita’s mind off the heights, though. We had a short, candid conversation. Fajita said they were willing to try being up high one more time. They liked the view a lot. It was just too scary worrying about falling down or off and going all that way. Well, that’s understandable. We tried a different approach.

Fajita was having a terrific time being up high and feeling secure. We did it! Nothing could go wrong now!

Oops. Guess they weren’t very secure. That drop from up high did not make them happy. (Thank goodness we don’t have any skeletal structures.) Time to try one more thing…

Oh, wait. Forgot to tell them ahead of time that we were sitting on top of a beehive that had just been installed. Thousands of honeybees could come home at any minute…

And that’s when Fajita told me they were done with this type of danger. "How about a game of Hide and Seek?” I can get behind that! See you there!
