Fajita asks, "What is 'Fall'"?

Hey, Everyone! Remember me, Fajita? Did you know I’m the cute little kangaroo whose best friend is Taco the Dragon? It’s been a super duper very long time since Yeti let me write a post- do you remember the last time? Isn’t this garden beautiful? Can you see all the butterflies and dragonflies in the picture? Can you find the friend visiting us in the picture below? Don’t our ears look cute together?

Can you believe what a beautiful day it is? Why are people saying it feels like “fall” but it’s really “summer”? Is it because the fruit falls off the vines in September? Have you ever seen a more adorable pumpkin?

Can you believe how hard it is to pick tomatoes?

How come pumpkins and tomatoes are both fruit? Why do you eat the shell of some fruit but not others? Why don’t people walk around eating tomatoes like apples? And why can’t you eat pumpkin unless it’s cooked? What makes a fruit a fruit, anyway? How come oranges are “orange” but no bananas are
”banana”? And why are fruits called plain names but birds have fancy names like “black-capped chickadee”?

Why are stars not star-shaped? And why can we stuff them into a small box but also they’re kabillions of miles away and made of gas but also they’re hot or maybe cold and also we can still see them from here?

Who gets to name all the birds and fruits and colors? Is it the person who made this game with the numbers and buttons? Can I find them to thank them for all the fun?

How come when you push this, it goes? Why aren’t there more cars for tiny Stuffies like us?

And why do some moles like to be whacked and others really, really, really do not like it?

Wait, is it called “fall” because things fall?

Does it still count as falling if you trap the marble when it comes down the chute?

Or trap all the marbles?

Have you seen anything more adorably precious than our friend Sheep?

Why are some moments more precious than others?

Did you know that some friends don’t care what the season is, they just like to wear celebratory hats? Do you think I could get a special knit cap with some leaves on it?

Do knit caps and holly leaves remind you of winter, too? Is it ice cream, hot cocoa, and peppermint season yet?

Can you tell me when it’s time for Christmas?

-Fajita
